History

The Jubilate Choir was founded in 2005 solely to promote Christmas music in the Bloomsburg and surrounding communities.  Originally comprised of church choir members, the Jubilate Choir began with 27 singers from Benton and Bloomsburg.  In 2009, the Jubilate Choir celebrated its 5th Anniversary with over 70 singers, a 25-piece chamber orchestra, and over 1,100 community members in attendance.  This year, over 120 people are involved in the adult choir, orchestra, and handbell choir.
